Re-activate or Re-create inactive ASIN?

Hi there,

I know this is a question that has been raised several times, but I haven’t found an exact similar case to my situation so I’d rather ask here to avoid any misunderstanding.

I created a product page by anticipation where I put all my product infos & images. I was hoping to sell my product soon, but COVID has widely delayed my operations. Therefore, my product page has been published but my listing stayed inactive for a while as I did not have any inventory.

Now it says that “This ASIN became inactive because it was not listed in the past 30 day”.

Does that mean I have to recreate everything from scratch, including a whole new product page using a new EAN & new ASIN? Or is there a way to reactive that existing ASIN not lose my existing product page / not change my EAN?

My concern is that my product has its EAN barcode printed on its label, so technically I can’t use a new EAN to create a new ASIN.

Not sure how to proceed here.
