Issue with Phone Number Character Limit in MCF Order – Virtual Number Exceeds 20 Characters

I need to use Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) to ship a new order. However, the customer placed an FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) order before the product arrived at the Amazon warehouse. The phone number field in MCF is limited to 20 characters, but the buyer's contact number in Amazon’s order details has been converted into a virtual number with an extension, which exceeds the limit.

Amazon does not want sellers using MCF to fill Amazon orders. That is intended for orders through other avenues. They even declare that if you do this and something goes wrong with the delivery you have no recourse for recompense.

Do not list something for sale that you do not have.

All buyer phone numbers for Amazon orders are a temporary made-up Amazon number.

@Seller_hAPlvVjfs4VUH As @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl already stated, we don't recommend to create a MCF order until you have available FC inventory ready to be sold. More information on MCF can be found at this help page.

Thank you!
