There is no problem with my VAT record. My products in the FBA warehouse have not been added to my stock for 6 months.
Hello,
I sent my inventory to Amazon on November 7, 2024, and it is still not active. The FBA shipment shows:
FBA STA (11/09/2024 13:59) - DTM2,
and I’ve been waiting for months without any resolution.
I completed my VAT verification, my account has been activated, and my address is shown as verified and approved in Seller Central.
Amazon still claims there is a VAT address mismatch, but I personally contacted the Dortmund Tax Office, and they clearly confirmed that everything is correct and up to date on their side.
So the issue seems to be within Amazon’s own system, yet no one has fixed it or properly communicated with me. Despite opening several cases and sending multiple emails, I feel completely ignored and unsupported.
Meanwhile, my products are sitting in the warehouse, and I am still paying storage fees, but I cannot sell even a single unit.
This situation is unacceptable, and I’m seriously losing trust in Amazon as a platform.
Best regards
Atakan

Hi Atakan,
Thank you for sharing your experience. I can understand how frustrating it must be to see your inventory stored without being able to sell it, especially after completing VAT verification and receiving confirmation from the tax office.
Even when VAT details appear verified, mismatches can still occur if the address on file doesn’t match the tax authority’s records exactly, even small formatting differences can cause issues. This might explain why your listings remain inactive despite verified status.
Here are a few steps to help move forward:
-- Double-check your VAT address in Settings > Account Info > Business Information > VAT Information. Ensure it matches the official address exactly — including punctuation, spacing, and any additional lines.
-- If available, upload confirmation from the tax authority (like a PDF or screenshot) showing the registered VAT address, and contact Seller Support referencing this to help them verify and escalate appropriately.
We appreciate your persistence and truly want to see your products live as soon as possible. Let us know if you receive any new updates — we’re here to support you.
All the best,
Pablo
