VTR calculations, what am I missing here?
I just opened a case, anyone know what is happening here …
“Why do I have the following VTR - Number of non-exempted shipments: 17,
but there are only 8 non exempted shipments on the VTR,
Also why does my VTR report state - Shipments with valid tracking: 9, when I have NOT used tracked services?
I have temporarily put holiday settings on as there seems to be errors in the calculations and I do not want the situation to decline.”

Several have reported having a positive number of non exempted shipments when they don’t send with any tracking.

I have 46 with valid tracking, yet somehow they are using 62 orders with tracking in the same time period to work out my OTDR which is apparently 100%.
Like you I send nothing tracked - unfortunately you can’t seem to download a report of completed orders to see where these tracking numbers come from (or why they don’t even match each other)
Its so hard to work out what’s going or who is even to blame when we can’t even get a proper report

I also have an open case where Royal Mail have confirmed the codes are Valid yet Amazon seem to think they are not, after to usual to and fro with the SS they have finally escalated it hopefully an explanation will be forthcoming

Hi,
I bought 2nd class recorded shipment labels through Amazon shipment service.
Tracking number KB591190861GB Accepted at Post Office on 22/03/21 but not delivered.
This shipment has been count as non-exempted shipment because the promised delivery date is 26/03/21.

I use click and drop. Every item is tracked and the tracking number is automatically uploaded to Amazon when the lable is printed.
Amazon now tell me that I should manually upload the tracking number as the Royal Mail are making mistakes when they do it automatically. (Well at least 20% of the time from my VTR results)
I believe that Amazon are a bit like the Tory party, they never own up to a mistake and always pass the buck.
I am doing no more, if they kick me out I will just go.

ive sent everything signed for royal mail the past month, all is exempt apart from 3 hermes deliveries i did which has given me 100%. i’m sure signed for was non exempt before!

ive opened numerous cases but the answers are vague and in a language i dont understand …
Its all very frustrating…

Me: I have bought postage service thru Amazon delivery service. The parcel have been scaned by carrier but not delivered or not signed and it says it is invalid tracking

Tracking number – Verify:
You entered the tracking number correctly.
You did not leave the tracking information blank.
You did not enter special characters (such as punctuation), which our system cannot recognise in the tracking information.
Carrier Name – Verify:
You selected a carrier from the drop-down menu in the Manage Orders page.
Confirm multiple order dispatches with feeds
You entered the concrete carrier name
If the carrier name is misspelled, entered in a different language or contains any extra words, the tracking will be marked as invalid.
The carrier name you entered is associated with the tracking number you entered
For example, if you use DHL to deliver a package, but enter ‘FedEx’ as the carrier name, the tracking will be marked as invalid.
You are using a carrier that is integrated with Amazon.
Dispatch confirmation and Update:
Make sure to confirm/update the tracking information before the order is delivered.
If the tracking information is confirmed/updated after the order is delivered, that means the buyer was not able to track the order. This is not useful to the buyer, and the order will not count

If you buy 2nd Class signed for it should be exactly the same whether bought through amazon, rm or the post office, using buy shipping shouldn’t be an advantage.
In the same way as buying normal 2nd, buy shipping shouldn’t be a disadvantage.
(I know it is, this is just my opinion)
