Reverification?
Been selling on here for over 10 years, I posted earlier about a email asking me to confirm I am not, nor have I ever been, a politically exposed person. Which I have now done.
I’ve now been sent another email saying We are contacting you as the document you provided was unacceptable for review, due to the reasons listed below. (I didn’t upload anything as they didn’t ask me to?) And that they now want me to reupload my UTR number which I did a few years ago. Fine except everything is paperless now and I guess I’ll be spending Monday on the phone asking for a copy to be sent out.
More worrying to me is when click the link to upload the document there is nowhere to do so and instead it’s asking for me to upload “a Power of Attorney letter (should be on a business letter head containing business name and Point of Contact name as provided while registering).” I’m confused as I’m an individual seller or sole trader and when I click on the link to show me an example it doesn’t show? Can anyone explain what a power of attorney letter is? Do I have to get this from somewhere as I have no idea and was never asked for this before?

Having gone through reverification, I feel your pain. The emails just start off too vague and you are right the system it provides to upload things is confusing. it took weeks of back and forth until Amazon were finally specific in what the wanted from us.
It’s the equivalent of me asking you to get a bottle of wine, you go, come back with a Sauvignon blanc, then I say no I want red wine, so you come back with a merlot and I say no, I want a Pinot noir, so you come back with a Chilean one, and I say no, I wanted an Argentinian one, and so on.
And then, once you’ve got back from the shop with the perfect wine, well now I want a beer.
