Selling Privileges Removed
Hi all,
On the 26th, I was notified that our NUUN Hydration Tablet violated the following Amazon policy:
ASIN: B00O1BKNJW
Title: nuun active hydration tablets (citrus fruits)
RP Rule: UK_Novel_Food_Ingredients_Part_
The sale of electrostatic dog collars or pet containment devices is not allowed on Amazon.co.uk.
Now, these items obviously do not contain any electrostatic dog collars, but I still removed the item (and any related listings) and submitted my plan of action, as requested, detailing how I was going to stop this from ever happening again.
And then I came in this morning to find that our selling privileges had been revoked. I have submitted an appeal and will apparently hear back by the end of tomorrow. Is there anything else I can do here? Anyone I can contact to get this sorted quicker?
As an interesting side note, I have checked the offending items and the only sellers now appear to be Amazon. Perhaps they managed to find a batch that wasn’t full of electrostatic dog collars.

Did the hydration tablet description or ingredients list mention electrolytes by any chance?
There is no end to Amazon’s bots ability to misread descriptors and the like.
have you tried escalating this - to MD and / or Bezos level?

Did you receive a phone call from Amazon asking you to submit a Plan of Action prior to the suspension?
Could you post here all communication which you received from Amazon regarding the issue since 26.September, including your responses?
