Error 8572 - Urgent help please
Hi,
I have been trying to add 2 new listings for 3 weeks now but keep getting this error.
I have contacted Seller Support but just going round in circles and not getting anywhere.
I have tried to re-create the listings but still the same error.
How did others resolve this?
Thanks

Sorry I don't know what the error codes mean, nor do many of us.
What is the error message?

I have had this issue multiple times before. There are 2 causes that I am aware of:
1. Your EAN number has been bought from a reseller and therefore already exists in the Amazon catalogue. If your EAN is from GS1 this should not be a problem.
2. The issue I had: when you start to create the product, if you allow Amazon to replicate the product in multiple marketplaces (eg. France, Germany etc in the Offers page) it instantly creates duplicates of the product for those marketplaces. If you then try to change/add any of the details (eg. Product title) in the UK Seller Central page it comes up with an Error 8572 message because it conflicts with the other offers in overseas marketplaces.
I fixed 2 by going through each international marketplace and deleting the product. I then started over from scratch on UK, but on the Offers page in the initial set-up I made sure all other marketplaces were switched off and product was exclusive to UK. Then once product was listed correctly in UK and all images/copy etc are good to go, I went back to Offers page to enable international markets.
Not sure if either of the above applies to you, but thought I would share as I found it incredibly frustrating and only solved it through lengthy trial and error.
Also worth mentioning that 2 is totally random and only happens occasionally without rhyme or reason. Sometimes there's no problem at all. Seller Support are generally not even worth engaging - they are only able to read out the online support articles, and their understanding doesn't extend beyond this.
