Why can pricing not be changed?

I have asked the experts in seller support and account health 5 times now why prices cannot be changed on listings. I have supplied screen shots and evidence and they just do not know.

Every time I change a price the listing is suppressed and the message 'your minimum price is higher than your selling price including postage'

This is a ridiculous statement as a minimum price cannot be higher than a selling price as the system would not allow you to do it.

So after 3 months of asking and no response and no idea of anything, why is this happening?

The only solution to this is to delete the listing and relist it, there is no other way to resolve it.

I am sure that the forum will be as disinterested as the rest of Amazon, but it would be great to actually be able to change prices without having to delete listings and relist them.

Maybe this is a bug along with the millions of others that have never been resolved?
