Missing shipment
I shipped an item using parcelforce. They delivered it and got a signature but Amazon say the item is lost at the Liverpool depot.
I ve got full proof from Parcelforce but Amazon say because I didn’t use their recommended shipment company they wont reimburse me.
I asked to speak to a manager or get a phone call but they keep just sending me a standard message and closing the case. Theres no investigation or anything I basically being told to go away deal with it.
What can I do?
Obviously should just use UPS going forward to cover all bases.

Can you post what they’ve said? Parcelforce are one of their preferred carriers and provided there is suitable confirmation of delivery they should reimburse.

I have had the same problem in the past as it was a small parcel with only 400 I sent via Royal Mail and had the same results;
I kept opening a case explaining they had the good and it was signed for so they must have it and showed proof it had been delivered
And all they kept doing was saying they had tried to find it and it was missing and just close the case,
After about 4 cases they just shut automatically saying we won’t reply any further.
My solution was. I took them to the small claims court you can do it online and all of sudden once they received the notice from the court they wanted to talk to me , they made several offers which I refused as it did not cover the value then one day before it was due to be heard they contacted me and offered the value of the goods plus expenses if I closed the case which I did .
And surprise surprise within 4 days of paying up they found the items and took the payment they made back minus expenses from my seller account

Looks like my shipment has been checked in. I will be using their recommended carrier going forward as the price is very good.
And hope others who had a similar issue gets a resolution.
I kept opening a case and asking for a manager then finally someone said I need stamped proof as another member suggested. It didn’t come to that in the end.
