Do returns from Austria qualify for free returns
When a customer orders from amazon.de but the delivery address is in Austria, does this qualify for free returns?
Our main marketplace is the UK, all our orders are seller fulfilled in the jewellery catagory. I read that any orders placed on amazon.co.uk but the delivery address is outside the UK, you do not need to offer free returns. I wondered what the policy was on amazon.de?

Amazon Germany has a completely different returns policy Seller Central help page than any other marketplace, here you can find it:
(Open the link while being switched into the DE site, otherwise you won’t see the correct page):
It states the following:
”If you return products according to this voluntary returns guarantee, we will refund to you the purchase price already paid by you. For returns of clothing, shoes and handbags, we also refund the costs of delivery and return. For returned products with a product price above EUR40 which you return to us within 14 days after receiving, we will also refund the costs of return but not the delivery costs of your initial purchase. In any case the transport risk for the return is borne by you. This returns guarantee does not affect your statutory rights and therefore does not affect your right of withdrawal.”
The same applies to orders placed by international customers on the marketplace. However, you are still required to offer a local return address or a pre-paid return label.
