Below is what was written on the AZ appeal:

Order ID # 112-7253688-6709069

This is an INR claim which meets Amazon’s policies for refunding costumer via "Amazon funded refund" and not as a "Seller funded refund". The refund was deducted from my account in error. Please reverse the refund and credit the amount of $68.74 back into my account and adjust claim so it does not directly negatively affect my Order Defect Rate (ODR).

HISTORY:

1. Customer purchased product on Thu, Nov 7, 2024, 10:48 AM PST

2. Seller purchased label thru Amazon Buy Shipping option- shipped via USPS Tracking ID 9341920111411004651908

3. SELLER shipped product on "Fri, Nov 8, 2024, 4:35 PM PST Carrier received the package." based on tracking details

4. USPS indicates via tracking that product was confirmed picked up by receiver "Your item was picked up at a postal facility at 7:58 pm on November 21, 2024 in MIAMI, FL 33101.

AMAZON INR POLICY STATES: Beginning on May 1, 2016, Amazon policy states: Product shipped with tracking—in transit or delivered You will not be held liable (when an order was not delivered by the end of the EDD range) if: The order was shipped within two business days from the date of the order. Tracking information shows an expected delivery in the near future.

CONCLUSION: USPS tracking clearly states package was shipped and delivered. Item was shipped one day after order was received. Amazon refunded from my account. SELLER follows Amazon’s INR and Return Policies and expects Amazon to do the same. Please reimburse my account the amount of $68.74 and adjust claim so it does not directly affect my Order Defect Rate (ODR). If any more information is needed on my end please reach out to me. Thank you Distribuidora Celestial LLC

After which Dec 1,2024 I received an email stating appeal was denied because "Why was my appeal denied? We have reviewed all available information and have determined that the merchandise was not shipped in a timely manner. " Which is incorrect because package was delivered early in the day NOv 8 which was the exact shipping date.

I then opened a case log id "ID 16757155751" and was sent back an email stating again "Why was my appeal denied? We have reviewed all available information and determined you have not provided sufficient evidence to prove delivery."

Which is incorrect because USPS tracking states that: "Latest Update Your item was picked up at a postal facility at 7:58 pm on November 21, 2024 in MIAMI, FL 33101." This can all be verified directly from USPS tracking website

Am I missing something with a new rule or recent guideline because I get INR every month and every month they're covered by Amazon for the refund and does not hit my ODR but this one did and nothing changed on my end.

Please advise

Thanks

Hello! @Seller_zMXHBtqA32RWO

This is Roberto. Thank you for bringing this matter into our attention, I have reviewed the information that our A-Z claims team investigated and based on the tracking information, there are two misses in this order:

  • You did not ship the order by the expected ship date. Shipping before the ship by date is considered using the carrier's first physical scan, not when you confirm shipment.
  • You did not deliver the order by the maximum estimated delivery date. The maximum EDD was on 11/15, as per tracking information, the order was delivered 11/21.

Based on the information shared, there are no further appeals on this claim. For more information, please see below:
