Charged for an account I didnt want
I started this account to sell a couple of old books I had from university.
The set up process was pretty laboured and continually kept pre selecting the option for a professional account which I continually deselected.
Amazon charged me for the professional account which I have tried to cancel, but which keeps reinstating itself as a professional account when I log back in.
I have raised a couple of tickets on this and got ignored. I requested two call backs which didn’t happen. I have not sold anything and its becoming infuriating.
Does anyone know of any other way of dealing with this issue?

How are you trying to cancel? - you should be able to go into your settings and click Downgrade to Individual from Professional. They wont do it for you via a phone call, you have to downgrade yourself in your account settings.

Also, it’s worth noting that the downgrade only takes effect from what would’ve been the next billing date - so it will still show as the professional selling plan until then.
