Need Help with Intellectual Property Complaint and Unfair Performance Dashboard Impact
Hello Sellers and Amazon Support,
I’m seeking help regarding an intellectual property complaint (Complaint ID: 15985155331) that has unfairly impacted my account’s performance. We are official resellers of the brand in question, working with major distributors, and we take intellectual property seriously.
The product was listed without any intention to violate intellectual property rights. The issue seems to stem from another seller who added a software bundle as an add-on to the product, which caused the complaint. However, my product is not counterfeit, and the brand is reputable. This particular product doesn’t even belong to the seller who filed the complaint, which makes this violation feel unjust.
As a result of this, my performance dashboard score dropped from 204 to 172, putting my account at risk of deactivation. This has created a serious concern for our business, and we would greatly appreciate guidance on how to resolve this issue, clear the complaint, and restore our account standing.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,

You can remove intellectual property complaints yourself. You just have to submit your letter of authorization from the brand or an invoice from a distributor that Amazon deems as sufficient.
You can also reach out to the party that submitted the complaint. I suggest to be polite with this party and express your intentions to not sell that brand anymore.

Hello @Seller_ec0Jju09Io2g3
Thank you for the information provided regarding the issues you have seen recently. I understand that that the complaint was received after the listing was adjusted to a bundle with software. Is the software and the hardware associated with the bundle owned by the same company or is it two different brands? What type of relationship do you have with the brand owner of the product? Have you attempted to put together an explanation of what you have observed along with the documentation that does show that you have authorization for the original product? If so, could you provide more information regarding the response you received?
If you are disputing off the belief that the violation is false, you do need to provide sufficient evidence for our team to review. If they cannot verify the information or determine the violation to be valid, you will still be expected to take steps to show you were authorized or that there was no infringement occurring. What type of information have you attempted to provide as of now?
We will require more information regarding the issues you are seeing so we may provide more specific guidance to your situation.
Best,
Atlas
