So Frustrating
Is anyone else having extreme difficulty with the new verification thing, I have sent a copy of this years short tax return along with the first page of my main tax return, which shows my name/address, yet everything is being rejected. Does anyone have ANY idea what I am supposed to produce, I am a sole proprietor and do not pay VAT (or tax as I don't earn enough).
Please can someone help as I've been in tears so often with this lately. Oh and they rejected my welcome letter containing my UTR as it is dated 2018 when I started the business. I understand they keep saying get another letter but I have been trying HMRC for 2 months now

they definately want an up to date Confirmation of UTR letter from HMRC. I’m puzzled why you are having a problem getting one though. It usually takes up to 2/3 weeks max. Try them again.
