Read onlyI am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding the recent VAT declaration process for my company’s account.
Amazon requested verification on whether my company was established or not. I uploaded the necessary documents, and when additional documentation was requested, I promptly submitted that as well. In response, I received an email confirming that the VAT review had been completed and that payments would be released in the next payment period.
However, when the scheduled payment period arrived, the payment was not made. Instead, I received another email stating that I had 10 days to pay the VAT, after which the amount would be reflected in my account. Unfortunately, the email did not include an appeal link, and I cannot access any relevant information through the Account Health section.
I have been a seller on Amazon for nearly two years, actively selling for over a year. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation where Amazon feels unreachable, and I am unable to resolve the issue efficiently.
I kindly request your assistance in reviewing this matter and providing a clear resolution path.
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to your prompt response.
This is NOT Amazon you are speaking to - just a forum of other sellers, so none of us can do anything. I would assume that they need to know if your business is established in UK or EU. They obviously believe that you owe VAT. If you are not a UK resident, then you should be VAT registered here in UK if you are using UK FBA.
This is not Amazon seller support
This is a forum of sellers who do not access to any accounts
You need to raise the issuse with Seller suport
Hi @Seller_LYQhWnuAqKtag,
Thank you for posting on the UK Seller Forums.
As mentioned by other sellers, this inquiry should be addressed to the Amazon Seller Support. You can reach out to this team by selecting the Help option in the top-right corner of your Seller Central dashboard.
Best,
Julia.
