No sale in 6 consecutive days
Hi guys,
I am a new seller started since December 2018. I sell kids’ toys fulfilled by Amazon.
Christmas time was a good month for me and after that my sell dropped but averagely speaking I have 1-2 sales per day.
However, in the last 6 days, I didn’t sell anything. I am not sure what happened. It seems my listings are still active.
Can anyone give me some advice?
Thanks!
Angell

How is your account performance like?
Do you have the buy box?

Hi, Angell. It is alway quiet in Jan and Feb (especially for toys). However, over the last year or so many people are saying that sails are way down anyway. Really, only Amazon know what’s going on.

Hi, also in the toy category, and sales are very minimal, (less than this month last year which was also very quiet). Last year for me it started to improve around April. Amazon seem to be selling items at prices that are hard to compete with at the moment, which I imagine is part of the reason, and the other being most people had their spend over Christmas. Yes Super_Universe, sales are slower in 2018 compared to 2017.

Hi Angell
Your storefront is showing 4 listings all with colour/set variations however only 1 or 2 product reviews on each. They are all 5 star which is great (apart from one 1 star which is undeserved, as you clearly show and state the size of the vehicle).
So I would suggest check your keywords - REDUCE your title lengths as some are too long and work on getting more product reviews.
Good luck

Saturday was good, Sunday morning was ok but the realest of Sunday was diabolical

I also sell toys and had one sale all weekend, nothing today and over 1500 items listed, have no idea what is going on but other auction sites are the same as I list elsewhere and nothing on there just people asking to reduce price ridiculously which is really annoying especially when you have a 12% off sale on everything already trying to entice people to buy.

Yup sale goes down these days. It will be recover gradually in next month. Check Listing if someone hold your buy box and insure advertising has Impressions.

I spoke to my Royal Mail account manager yesterday. She said all her accounts have hugely dropped the number of orders so at least we can all rest assured it’s nothing personal - it’s the media and political unrest in the UK. I might even stop blaming the Chinese sellers now!

I am selling similar kids things from ebay and amazon from 2012, when there is a school holidays kids item sells dropping to 25% to 50%
