Seller Fulfilled Prime - change of cut off time commitment change
We have just been notified that our SFP cut off time for guaranteeing next day delivery has been changed from 2 pm to 4 pm, our DPD van arrives here at 4.30 so this is going to put us under immense pressure to ensure they are dispatched on time. anyone else has this notification from Amazon?

Yes we received the same message today - Amazon said our collection is at 4pm so moved our cut off forwards to 3pm. However in reality it’s made at 3.30pm so it’s going to be cutting it fine.
That said, when Amazon say your cut off is 4pm - they will advertise it until 3pm as far as the customer sees to ensure that the orders clear their systems. So you will have 1hr more than you think.

If you go into your shipping settings and select the tab for general settings there should be the option to change the cut off time back to 2pm

Same here. Our driver also turns up earlier than the advised time as we are his biggest collection and it is easier to fit other parcels around ours than the other way around. I think we may pull the plug in SFP as a result. I doubt we can handle these new requirements.

We had this email today, Tuesday 14th May, giving us notice that the SFP cut-off time will be changed from Wednesday 15th May, ie TOMORROW. Not only that, they say that it will be changed from 14:00 to 18:00, based on our collection with DPD at 19:00.
We do not and never have had a collection with DPD at 7pm and to give less than a day’s notice is ridiculous. We are not even open at the time they say that DPD comes to collect! It is impossible to receive orders at 6pm and then ship the same day. I’ve replied to the email and hope Amazon will realise the mistake they’ve made.

In order to continually improve the customer experience, we will be changing your Seller Fulfilled Prime order cut-off time from Wednesday 15th May 2019 from 14:00 to 18:00 based on your collection with DPD at 19:00.
All Prime orders that you receive in the system before 18:00 will be expected to be shipped on THE SAME DAY. For any orders you receive after 18:00, you are expected to ship these THE NEXT DAY.
We want to offer the best customer experience possible and by making these changes, you are able to offer a wider number of customers a faster delivery time on their order.
If you purchase shipping from other carriers for Seller Fulfilled Prime, make sure your cut-off time is set correctly accordingly to your earliest collection time (at least 30 minutes before your collection).
