The problem with overseas sellers
Have a look at the feedback for the seller of the number one best selling stuffed animal.
Amazon.co.uk Best Sellers: The most popular items in Stuffed Animals
Pages and pages of people who have not received their items.
I appreciate that there will be huge numbers of buyers who have just not left feedback but it is shocking that they are still allowed to sell and the people are still buying.
This just makes me more convinced that buyers do not look at feedback and do not look at expected delivery date.
I think this will ultimately cause a big problem for Amazon.

It also makes me think that we get graded on different performance metrics than sellers in China. I don’t imagine I’d still be selling, and certainly not selling FBM, with a 61%/59% negative rating over the past 30/90 days.

Looking at that item and the reviews… I’m concerned as it’s a “toy”, but the stitching is coming apart, which could be a choking hazard?

Their feedback isn’t really visible to anyone buying off that page.
It’s different for us who are used to searching links to find it, but for the average buyer who probably thinks they’re buying from Amazon, they’d never be aware they’re buying from overseas, or from a 3rd party seller.
It even says ’ Dispatches from Amazon’ below the buy button, and has the ‘Amazon’s Choice’ tag.
Is that seller in China? When I follow the links it’s showing as a UK FBA seller.

I’m going slightly off topic here -apologies
It is quite obvious from this feedback that quite a lot of people were relying on China for their Jubilee celebrations.
I was in Windsor last week and there are large numbers of “souvenir” shops and stalls. I had a snoop round in a few of them and I dont think that they sell anything not made in China
Surely we can make our own tat. ( or better still make better quality genuine souvenirs) instead of importing everything from China
