Reviews from loyal customers
Hi there,
I run a brand that has quite a large social media following for a brand predominantly selling on Amazon. We have a mailing list and when we release a new product we normally have a bunch of very loyal customers who purchase our products. These are real people with genuine accounts in the UK who genuinely love our products and purchase them without us asking. We do not ask for reviews, we would never ever ask for positive reviews as this would violate Amazons review policy.
Am I at risk if Amazon realises that we have reviews from the same people on many of our listings? It occurred to me yesterday that Amazon may mistakenly think that we have requested these reviews due to the fact they normally leave really great 5 star reviews because they love our products and our brand. Obviously we have many reviews from people who just buy our product off Amazon as well. Maybe i’m overthinking but this occurred to me last night in bed.
Thank-you

not sure about the issue with repeat reviews but i would question whether or not you should be taking the addresses of amazon buyers and adding them to a mailing list

Hi
If you have a social media website all your communications will be via the website introducing new products. Why would you need a mailing list? All your followers can see what you are advertising.
Also sometime back Amazon used to have a link which you can send to all your twitter followers just had a look round could not find this.
Usually mailing lists are to offer financial incentives such as 10% off etc which is the same on Amazon using vouchers or advertising etc.
