Advertising charges discrepancy

this is our second post about sneaker amazon charges today as we have gone through our last few days transactions and charges to check.

we have a listing which we are advertising. on our advertising dashboard we have a total amount of £3.64 charges.

Upon looking at our daily transactions and charges. amazon have charged us and taken off £4.43 .. we have no other adverts running ..

Be careful sellers , we are being slowly ripped, bit by bit over time the money they are taking from us which concerns me as ive never checked up on all this in 14 years so how much have they taken in the past which they shouldn't have ?

we are pulling most of our FBA and stopping advertising so we can really not get ripped off with all these refunds which dont get returned to us and all these sneaky things going on while they take som much in fees and still charge us per month for using the platform..

Hi ELITETRADER,

I don't know your business but is it possible that the extra is 20% V.A.T. + 2% Digital services Fee?

The numbers look about right

All Best

Hi @Seller_0AG9i8qKfX9Eu,

Could the difference you’re seeing be down to the Regulatory Advertising Fee? It’s added as a separate line item on invoices, so that might explain why the numbers don’t match up.

See this help page: https://advertising.amazon.co.uk/help/GRQM2HSUXGUWFJ3H

On that page these sections could be relevant:

"Regulatory Advertising Fees are applied at the time of invoice issuance as a separate line item added to campaign charges. "

and

"If you are an advertiser with a business address in the United Kingdom ..., you could see a United Kingdom ... Regulatory Advertising Fee calculated from your total invoice amount ..."

Kind regards, Michael
