Pro Seller Fees Very High?
Hi everyone. I’m still very new to selling on amazon via FBA. I’ve sent off my products to amazon and I have launched a advertising campaign. The other day I received my first 2 sales (which I was delighted about) until I realised even with a pro seller account my fees are crazy.
My first order was 2 x £9.50 (so £19) on my payments report is says Amazon fees £6.80 and then FBA fees of £4.36 so total fees of £11.16…that is over half of the cost of the order.
Is this right?

Did you not check the fees with the rate card, before sending your stock in?
Exactly what you have been charged, you need to look at the individual charges, rather than all at once.
FBA fees depend on size/weight and normal fees depend on the category your selling in. 15% is about the average.

Yep, and to that you need to add product costs, advertising, VAT…

Don’t forget to also account for things like advertising costs and FBA storage fees though.
