Lack of information regarding baby gear product selling approval
I am trying to list a product on Amazon, and have been informed I need to request approval to sell baby gear (toys). I have gone through the process of requesting approval and provided all the images, and invoice details they require as part of the approval process, however I received an email saying:
"Thank you for your application to sell Baby Activity Gear products. We have reviewed the documentation and information that you provided and determined that you are not eligible to sell Baby Activity Gear products. We took this action to ensure the mutual success of our sellers and buyers in our marketplace."
I have ensured that the documentation provided is sufficient and meets all the criteria, and upon asking for more information I get the same automated response sent to me every time.
Has anyone else had this issue, and how did you overcome it?

That response is generally sent when the invoice meets all the criteria but your selling account does not.
Amazon make their decisions around ungating based on the evidence provided by the seller as well as the information they hold on the seller. They don't give out information on what criteria they use behind the scenes.
Typical advice is to build a sales history in another category and then reapply.
