Address Verification Issue – Request for Accepted Solutions for Non-UK Residents
We are reaching out to request detailed guidance and support regarding an ongoing issue that has resulted in the closure of our Amazon seller account due to address verification failure.
We are a UK-registered company, established by Turkish residents, with all legal obligations such as HMRC and Companies House registration duly completed. Our company operates its production in Turkey and uses a virtual business address in the UK, which is legally accepted by both HMRC and Companies House.
Additionally, we have appointed a UK-based director to represent our company locally. Despite submitting all required documents, including:
HMRC and Companies House registration documents
Utility bills and documents verifying the address of our UK-based director
Utility bills from our registered address in Turkey
Signed agreement with our third-party UK warehouse partner
...our account was still suspended, and our address was not accepted by Amazon.
We understand that Amazon needs to comply with strict verification procedures. However, in our case, no clear explanation was provided as to why all these valid legal documents were rejected, nor were we offered any acceptable alternatives or next steps.
We would like to ask the following:
Are there officially accepted virtual office or business address providers that Amazon works with or approves?
Is there a list of restricted or non-accepted address providers that we should avoid using?
Can you advise if relocating our registered address to a specific approved service or business center would help satisfy Amazon's verification process?
Are there known partners, programs, or verified third-party services that can facilitate this process for non-UK residents?
As an international seller trying to comply fully with UK legal and Amazon policies, it is very discouraging to face rejections without a clear resolution path. We are not seeking an exception — we are seeking a compliant solution.
We kindly ask for your assistance or redirection to the correct team/department that can provide clarity and help us reinstate our operations on Amazon UK.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
