Being threatened by a competitor selling the same item
another amazon seller is threatening me with purchases turned into bad reviews on purpose to sabotage me because I pressed the sell one yourself button on his amazon listing for a metal tube that can be purchased wholesale from 1000 sellers in china…???

If it’s a generic product, but you brand/rebrand it than it falls under your brand. E.g. Morrison’s and Tesco value wine glasses can be exactly product except for the packaging and branding, which means they’re not the same.

forward the threat to Amazon. not much else you can do really.

Don’t list against things unless your item matches exactly, including brand.

Better to do your own branding, listing and advertising. It looks like this seller has made this product his own by offering a set of 4 different colours and his packaging will probably be different to yours.

My competitior filed multiple intellectual property complaints against me. They most definitely did not own the designs of the appliance. They simply stuck the item in original box into a polybag with their logo on it and said that was their right to it. I hope they get sued by the actual manufacturer who have a reputation for really defending their IP.
