Warning when accepting Amazon FREE £500 CREDIT for Sponsored Brands

Be very careful when Amazon offer you FREE CREDIT for Sponsored Brands and follow the terms first from the start and then from the end.

Term 1 - Set up the campaign by date xx/xx/xx - (The campaign is automatically turned to LIVE to start running immediately.)

Term 3 - Advertisers will be charged for any clicks before the promotion.

Term 6 - Amazon will apply the credit within 14 days.

The terms are very clever in the way that they are created backwards. In my case the campaign went live immediately but the credits were not added for 2 days. So for the £18 used each day prior to the credit being added, I have to pay this £36. *which generated £0 in sales.

In my view terms 3 and 6 are around the wrong way and Amazon should be mentioning that they Auto-start the campaign meaning you need to manually pause it prior to the credit being added for the credit to take effect.

Very frustrating as this has been done intentionally to catch people out - so beware!
