Amazon.co.uk selling privileges have been remove
Hi aim new to amazon but a am experienced e bay seller. I have 60 sales on Amazon in 1 month.
I have got an email from Amazon saying " Your Amazon.co.uk selling privileges have been removed"
" You currently may not sell on Amazon.co.uk because you are offering items that may infringe intellectual property rights or may be inauthentic. A list of these items is at the end of this email."
I was selling G-Star jeans. When i first listed them i was gated so i press apply to sell and i was ungated right away no questions no proof etc.
I started listing them and sent into FBA.
Sold 2 pairs and then got this message.
Amazon are asking:
- Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders, or authorization letters from your supplier issued in the last 90 days. The quantity of items shown should match your inventory.
- If you are not the brand owner, provide an authorization letter and a complete set of documentation, including authorization letters, to prove a valid supply chain.
- If you are the brand owner, provide a copy of the brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card.
- Contact information for your supplier, including name, phone number, address, email, and website.
My issue is:
1.The items was brought was more then 90 days ago.
2.The stock iv sent in does not match what i brought as iv brought in the 1000s and i sell all over and only sent like 20 in so far to FBA.
3. I was ungated with no providing proof i am not the brand owner and like most brand nobody has the rights to sell products really so why ungate me.
4. They was brought from a well known high street store closing down so i have the receipts but like a standard retail receipt dated like 10 month ago no a commercial invoice and certainly does not show the ASINS.
Any help or advice to appeal this ? i was not trying to get round the rules i apply to sell and i was granted so i started to sell the item.
Please note i have already pulled all my stock by G-star already to show Amazon im here to stay within the rules.

This is COMPLETELY different to Ebay

The trouble is that you cannot buy from a high street retail store and then list the items on Amazon “NEW” only “Used as New” - only of course you cant sell used clothing here.
They wont accept your retail receipts anyway.

as janet(shrewsbury marine) has said they wont accept retail receipts a lot of new sellers are falling into this trap we also sell on ebay and amazon couldnt be further from ebay for a seller
they will reject your receipts and ask for a poa you need to come back here for advice when they do in the meantime i would look at seller university to put you more in the picture of what selling on amazon involves

Don’t get me wrong - I’ve been selling on ebay since 2009 and amazon since 2012 and I still prefer ebay but… here’s the difference - getting your goods sold on amazon is like approaching a huge department store and convincing them to let you stock your amazing products - ebay is like rocking up to your local Sunday morning carboot

Okey non official ones from Amazon but still Joe Bloggs channel on youtube showing his account. Amazon could find that so soon as it out there. But this is straying away from my issue.
I have had no warning or anything just give us invocies to match it all or die.

You will also potentially need to delete every item that hasn’t been bought via a wholesalers and that you cant account for with an invoice.
On the list of items they’ve given you, are any of them bought with invoices rather than retail?

I will take your advise on and only buy from supplers with invoices
