Fees gone up since changing to professional plan
I have only recently started FBA, but as sales where going ok I changed over to the professional plan as I will be selling more than 30 items a month.
However my selling fees seem to have gone up, looks like there’s no shipping credit anymore?
Is there a setting somewhere I can’t find?
Thanks,
Seb.

No the fees do not go up, but one of the advantages of being on the Pro. Plan is that you can set your own shipping charges by assigning shipping templates to your items, for FBM.
However if you do not do that your customers will still pay Amazon’s default shipping charge for the category.
However, I see you are FBA, so I believe storage, shipping etc is all included in the FBA fees you pay. You don’t get shipping credit as you are not posting out the items, Amazon are.
(I hope I am right, but stand to be corrected as I do not use FBA)

As per above, FBA doesn’t have shipping credits. If you are also doing FBM, then you would need to update your shipping template to reflect what you want to do about postage charges.
You can generally charge a little more for FBA, so you could consider upping the price.
The only thing to add to the above is that storage fees are separate from the FBA fee.

Where you selling previously FBM and changed to FBA at the same time as changing the selling plan?
If so, what will have happened, is that you will no longer be charging customers the default shipping rate and now with FBA, you are charging customers, the actual price.

No, I was selling FBA and am still selling FBA and for some reason instead of going down (by loosing the £0.75 item fee) the fees seem to have gone up.
Then again, I’m trying things out with new old-stock items. So a lot of 1 of this, 2 of that.
But the cost between items that should be the same (different scent of same thing) seem quite big?
Maybe it’s items that where bought before I went professional but where in pending state (there where a lot of those). Will have to have another look at things.

Thanks all, looks like I’ll just have to keep a closer eye on the prices.
These are all low value items with only pennies profit, just to get rid of old stock and get some sales registred on amazon.
