Buy Shipping Policy for Seller Fulfilled Prime

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a link to / or a copy of the Amazon Buy Shipping Policy for SFP at all? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

The reason for my asking is that i was a little shocked to message the CS Team about a couple of SFP orders whereby buyers have ordered multiples of the same product, making the total weight go over 20kg. Ultimately, this means us having to dispatch outside of Amazon’s buy shipping system and manually upload the tracking information from a third party carrier not currently integrated into our account.

The CS response previously has been fairly nonchalant about it and have said they’ll pass it over to the relevant team for ‘consideration’ when evaluating our metrics etc etc (never happens, but hey).

However, this last response annoyed me a little because they suggested we purchase multiple shipping labels for the same order and send the customers order in separate parcels in order to comply with the ‘Buy Shipping Policy’.

I did try to explain that sending multiple parcels, purchasing multiple labels and uploading multiple tracking numbers wouldn’t be financially viable for such situations, but they insist this is the only way for us to comply with the policies and prevent our metrics from being affected.

I am still at a loss to be honest as to why it’s imperative that we link our own RM / DPD accounts to Amazon and purchase labels through Amazon… but hey, ours is not to question why.

Sorry for the rant, but if anyone has a copy or link to this policy, it would be most appreciated.

Regards,

LiveMoor.

The reason for link I’m sure, is that Amazon will get a cut!

As to the problem you have, you can ship a certain amount of orders without breaking the policy.
So in this case, I would simply ship it outside of Amazon.
A lot will depend on the quantities your shipping as it’s percentage based, as to how often you can do it.
But if your using DPD, you should be able to ship up to 30kg?
