Amazon Payments UK

I received an email in the middle of January stating that from 2019 that payments for goods sold will be made via APUK - I just wanted to check if this is genuine as I’m wary of anything concerning electronic payments and due to a badly broken arm have had to suspend my listings since Xmas. One paragraph said:

“If you wish to continue with your business as usual and maintain the options available to you today, you do not need to take any action. Your continued use of your amazon.co.uk seller account 60 days following this email will constitute your deemed acceptance of the APUK terms and conditions (available here), and we will setup an APUK payments account on your behalf.”

I’m taking it that if I reopen my listings today, which I’ve done, that this will constitute continued use of my seller account or should I list something to be on the safe side?

Many thanks for any assistance.

You do not need to do anything. You either accept by default and continue or arrange to close your UK store.
