Importing goods into the UK as a non resident

I am a new seller to amazon UK and I live in the Republic of Ireland. My product will me imported into the UK from China and I was wondering what other documents I need to take care of besides the EORI.

Before you even look at importing any goods into the UK, have you setup yourself for VAT?
You cannot store any goods here, without being registered.
