Amazon fees for cd's
The Amazon fees for cd’s appear to have gone up again. It is quite ludicrous that in many cases the fees are now far more than I get from selling it.Her’s an example:
Item: Elgar;Sym.1/Pomp & Circumst [Audio CD] Andrew Davis; BBC Symphony
Condition: Used - Like New
Condition note: CD,case and inlays are all like new.Mint Condition.Posted on the same day that you order by UK seller.
Listing ID: 1012URI20JS
SKU: 91-U1UD-0NF1
Quantity: 1
Order date: 06/06/2019
Price: £1.95
Shipping: £1.26
Amazon fees: -£1.18
Your earnings: £2.03 As I have to pay £1.30 to post the cd I end up with 73p,whilst Amazon get £1.18. I am in the process of deleting from my listings all the lower priced books and have realised that I have to delete around 2000,because,due to increased fees and postage I cannot make a profit on any book selling for less than £3. The practice of adding the cost of the book to the postage cost and THEN deducting the Amazon fees seems to me to be wrong also,as the buyer pays the postage cost.
I’m beginning to think that the system is seriously rigged against sellers, and that whilst Amazon had some ethical values when they started, these were abandoned a long time ago.
I have been a Pro-Merchant seller for nearly 20 years and fortunately it is not my only source of income, more of a retirement hobby now,but have become quite disillusioned with Amazon as an entity.
If it was not for my love of books and music I would have given up last year when the fees were first increased.
Are any other sellers feeling the same way?

It is to prevent the 1p item price and £xxx postage to avoid paying fees.
The total price fee based structure is fair to all.
