Item deleted due to electric plug problem

Hi, I have received the following message:

"ASIN: B078YYPK7R, SKU: ZJ-QT8U-YWJG, Title: “QNAP TS-128A, 1bay, 1GB RAM, NAS (Network-attached Storage), Private Cloud, Backup, Data & Multimedia Centre”

The sale of products that are not fitted with either (i) a UK 3-pin plug, or (ii) a non-UK plug permanently fitted with a UK safety-approved conversion plug are prohibited on Amazon.co.uk. For more information on prohibited and approved plugs, please search for the ‘Electrical Goods Requirements: Plugs and Sockets’ help page in Seller Central."

I am completely baffled as to what the problem is. The item is UK and includes a standard UK 3 pin socket and lead.

Does it carry the relevant certification?

Certainly doesn’t sound as though it’s an English made product…

Just had the same notification regarding a completely different listing, have they purged aload of ASINS?

We have had exactly the same message and actions for a Lighcraft A3 tracing box, “The bots are taking over”, I have got to that stage where I just think let them carry on!!

This problem has been around for a long as I can remember. Listings get pulled, the seller provides evidence of a fixed 3 pin plug, it gets reinstated, then pulled again. Rinse and repeat. Not heard of it happening for a while though. They will reinstate, but expect further issues with the product listing.

Got bite too. Great to see it got discussed here, now I know I’m not “dealt with” specifically.

My question is: I simply selling on the list created by the official team (the manufacturer themselves), me being the UK distributor. The inventory I got, does not have any plug (in our case USB charger) supplied. So what do I do? The warning email is rather scary, asking to remove the list, return inventory from FBA, etc.

Do I contact support at all? Create a new list for myself? Close the UK list and keep selling in Europe? Expert suggestions greatly appreciated!
