I suggest amazon and shipping compaines arrange a meeting in a short time. and decide when shipping companies charges customs VAT.
They must agree on ‘’ intrinsic value’’ of an order. they must clear the 150 Euro and 135 GBP thresholds.
it was awful day.
Even amazon has provided me IOSS number. DHL trying to charge double CustomsVAT.

There is nothing to agree, or decide. It isn’t optional, it is set out in law and enforced by the customs and border protection units of each respective government.
Where items are being rejected/charged it is almost always now due to errors in the information entered and presented by the shipper, occasionally by issues with the courier’s IT and somewhat frequently by customs agents just being belligerent or uninformed.
