Swapping account from limited to sole trader

Swapping account from limited to sole trader

Due to size of the business I am going to move from a limited company to a sole trader setup. How do I go about doing this on amazon ? Is it possible ?

Did you set it up as Ltd right from the start ? - any reason why ?

I believe you may have to transfer the account - but check with SS
You’ll presumably need to dissolve the ltd first and transfer any vat numbers
You’ll also need an up to date utr confirmation letter from hmrc and a new bank account

Yes, I agree about dissolving the ltd first, as I am not sure that you will be able to register as sole-trader until that is done.
Was your Ltd VAT registered ? - if so, you will need to sort that out too.
