Bar Codes after GTIN Exemption approved
Hi,
How can I get bar codes for my products and boxes after I have been approved for GTIN Exemption? I'm going around in circles trying to list my product even after exemption approval, and my manufacturer is getting edgy holding my products for so long.

GTIN exemption is per brand (or Generic) per category.
If you've got GTIN exemption in a category for a brand, you won't need barcodes.
If you still want barcodes - there is only one place amazon accept. GS1.

Thanks for your responses, thirtythreeandathird.
If my product boxes and shipping boxes don't have bar codes, how will they be identified and tracked during shipping, storing, and sending to customers?
Also, I have been granted a GTIN Exception for a category, but when I try to make a new listing using my accepted brand name, I'm sent in circles and asked to apply again, as I don't have a product ID, which is not required after approval for a GTIN.

Can I assume you are sending into FBA?
If you are, you are confusing GTINs and FNSKUs. If your product doesn't have a GTIN - you will be supplied FNSKUs when you setup the product to send into Amazon.
On your other question - it looks like what you are getting as an error is that you need to be authrised to sell the brand Polar Plunge. I think that is your current issue

Yes, selling on FBA. I have been given GTIN Exemption. Look at image 1. It was approved but it isn't listed because of issue 2. I have applied to be authorised. But I have not received anything GTIN or FNSKUs for bar codes to send to my manufacturer.
When you get GTIN exemption, should you not get bar codes?
And, I shouldn't get FNSKUs, I guess, because I do have GTIN exemption approval.
So, what do I need to do? Get authorization, then I get bar codes, and can set up my listing? I have GTIN Exemption, so does that mean I can use my brand name on my product and listing?

If you have GTIN exemption it means when you list your products don't have a barcode allocated to them.
As @Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh says when you create the ASIN's for FBA then your ASIN will be allocated a FNSKU barcode. You then print this FNSKU off and attach it to your packaging. Alternatively you can get your supplier to print the FNSKU directly onto your packaging.

so how will Amazon know my products when they arrive at their warehouse?
Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh
can I suggest at this point you thoroughly read seller university? Start with sending to Amazon for fba.
It looks like you can’t currently list because you need authorisation to list that brand.

I am trying to get authorisation, but they just won't accept my applications. In the letter below, not that they have stated that "no GTIN exemption was applied to your account". But, you can see from image 1 they they approved it. Do I need to 'apply' it somewhere after they approve it? You can't even reply to their emails when you note something like this and want to discuss it with them.
