Listing active but not visible on Amazon.co.uk

The listing is active, accurate, is not restricted, has a start selling date in the past and is not a variation of another ASIN. I also beleive my account settings are correct however, the listing returns a ‘Page Not Found’ error when trying to view it on Amazon.co.uk.

After various messages to Seller Support with various unrelated stock replies, there was however a piece of guidance which is as follows:

“If the error still persists, you will need to delete your product listing, wait 24 hours, and then relist the product with the correct information. Deleting and relisting the product with the exact SKU will not affect your existing FBA inventory (if any), ASIN sales history or reviews. Changes may take up to 24 hours to be shown in the detail page.”

Has anyone resolved this issue without having to delete their listing? If not, is someone able to provide some step-by-step guidance on how to delete a listing and re-list it in order to ensure our existing inventory is not affected.

Thanks in advance

We have had several listings we have deleted and re instated with stock within FBA under Amazons advice. Sometimes a conflict occurs in the background. It is important to wait 24 hours and re instating stock is quite simple, from memory my colleague does it from Stranded inventory section which your item will go when you delete listing. its quite simply getting correct sku in the offer page , that links to your FBA stock location and away you go

There are some other points here that have merit, is there an error it data that would still cause issues, but it would appear if visible in other countries its a data conflict and an effective clear out of data and reload will clear

The word ‘acidic’ is in the product description - not sure if that will cause problems ?!

Are you the rights/brand owner of the brand Aspell? If so, are you trademarked in UKIPO and brand registered with Amazon in the UK? (a EUIPO trademark is just for EU member states.)

This has been a problem on Amazon for a few years now.

I’ve given up on trying to get Amazon to take it seriously.

Happened to me couple of months ago. Eventually got this reply from a great service agent in Dublin.
I was afraid to loose my reviews but it all worked. Thing to note is to use the EAN number.

From Inventory > Manage Inventory > All Inventory View, select the listings you want to delete using the check boxes in the far left column.
From the “Actions” pull-down menu, select “Delete products and listings”.

After you delete a SKU from your inventory, it can take up to 24 hours before that SKU is available for reuse.

Please note this will make your inventory stranded which will be created once you create a new offer.

Follow these steps to create a new product listing on Amazon:

  1. Select Add a Product from the Inventory drop-down.
  2. Click on Create a new product listing
  3. Search or browse for the category that matches the product that you want to sell and click the Select category button. Choosing your category accurately can help buyers find products more easily.
  4. Once you have entered the required information in the tabs provided, you can click Save Changes to complete the listing process. You can edit the information for your product listings at any time.
  5. Please ensure you use EAN as product identifier type and enter in your EAN from GS1.

I’ve had issues like this. There is often only one official way to solve this; follow these steps:

  1. Open a case with seller support and explain the situation.
  2. Wait for them to tell you there’s nothing wrong and close it.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 around 10-25 times until fixed.

Gotta love Amazon.
