Refund "system error"

Hi I am trying to refund with no return someone, I click on the “issue refund” button within manage returns, and for over 24 hours now I keep getting “system error”.

I contact seller support, person on phone has never seen this before, so passes the case onto the technical people, I get an email back and the response is totally useless.

“After further review I can see that the return request is not yet accepted and if you’re providing a returnees refund take action on pending return request and inform buyer to keep the product post which you’ll be able to refund the order ID”

Which is no help at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions? thank you in advance!

Try doing it direct through the order on the manage orders page

You should be able to click on ‘Deny Request’ and then select ‘Refund with no return’ as the reason for denial. I think the return request has to be authorised one way or the other within 24 hours?
