Very large order
Hi all,
I have just received a very large order - I would like to know what if any precautions I can take to avoid being scammed.
I sell seeds - the buyer lives in a flat, but that in itself is not unusual - in this case it is a very expensive flat in west london and it would appear that the buyer is a close relation of a VIP.
Any thoughts? Seeds are not really the epicentre of scamming!

Use a courier with signature confirmation

Sounds okay to me. They may have another property, window boxes, terrace gardens where they are going to use the seeds.
It may also be they are buying on behalf of the VIP. It is not abnormal for ‘important’ people to get someone else to buy for them.
Just cover yourself with a good tracked service in case of problems.

Thanks guys - good advice.
The person is a close relative of the head of state of an oil rich republic - I doubt the person does much of their own buying!
Ironically in my past life as an investment banker I used to spent a lot of my life checking out these people…but its different when its your own money!

Sold 2 guitars to Abbey Road Studios a while back. Used a specialist courier that I know from Ice Hockey games.
