Products with a valid Manufacturers GS1 Barcode clearly visible still require shipment SKU labelling?

Hi, I am regularly sending in shipments to Amazon's FC with product quantity's well into the thousands. As you can imagine labelling a thousand products every shipment not only incurs a decent cost in labels, but also costs a bomb in terms of time spent.

I'm trying to understand why products that are supplied with a GS1 manufacturers barcode (and is new, not in the long list of manufacturer tracking exempt categories, etc) still needs labelling?

Is there a way to dispute products like this? I would imagine every product sent without individual FNSKU Labels and eligible for commingling would benefit both the seller and Amazon drastically with time saved on both ends?

Thanks

Do you not have the same options as I do in your "Send to Amazon" screen?

For a product to qualify for using manufacturer barcodes, it must meet all of the following requirements:

It must be in new condition

It must have a single, scannable UPC, EAN or ISBN barcode matching a single ASIN in the Amazon catalogue

It must not be a media product: Items such as books, CDs, VHS tapes or DVDs must be labelled

It cannot belong to any of these categories *:

Clothing

Jewellery

Computer components & accessories

Software

Shoes

Sports memorabilia

Watches

Video games

Toys & Games

Consumable or topical products (such as, grocery items, skin creams, cosmetics, and soaps)

It must not be an FBA restricted product or a dangerous good

We've had this issue too so it must be a glitch in the amazon system. (our product had been live for a few years with the barcode and no issues). We are having to submit the GS1 certificate to support to get the barcode reinstated. Have you tried that? I would be persistent with support in the case log.
