Paying EU and UK VAT
Hello!
I have a UK based company and i will have to register for VAT in all pan-eu. What i’m trying to understand is when i’ll be paying the VAT in France the money from those sales will go eventually in my UK bank account, and my accountant from the UK said i will be paying VAT for the total amount that goes in my UK bank account… Am i going to pay VAT twice? In France and the UK? Do i have to find another accountant? :-))
Anybody can help with some information please?
Thank you!

You need to get another accountant.
You pay VAT in the country you make the sale in.
You don’t combine it all and pay vat in the uk for all EU sales.

What do you mean by the total amount that goes into your bank account. VAT is owed on the total value of a sale ( plus shipping).
What goes into your bank account has had Amazon’s fees etc deducted. If you were to only pay VAT on what goes into your back account you would be under declaring your VAT owed by big margin.
