Pallet shipping company says BXH4 has closed for all new shipments
And that is why my pallet has been stuck there for 3 weeks. Is this possible? They are not a partnered carrier so maybe they just dont get an appointment to deliver these busy days?
I don’t know what to tell them… I am so screwed. All advice appreciated.

I had the same reply but after we had been told to delivery there by Amazon, which we did on 15th October. Our pallet was finally delivered into BHX4 (Coventry) on 24th November. Still not “checked in” so no product on the shelves since we ran out in October and our ratings have hit the deck. Diabolical and inefficient service; if BHX4 is so full why do Amazon not re-direct deliveries to another Fulfilment Centre? Is it so hard to keep your customers informed and updated?

Thanks Neil. Yes we knew that Coventry was just a receiving centre but the holdups there with non partnered carriers–Pallet Force have over 500 pallets queued up since September–is an indication of complacency to others in favour of carriers who pay Amazon for priority service. We will be organising our next delivery through a partnered carrier rather than Schenker/Pallet Force but we shouldn’t have to.
