How to solve A+ violation

Hey,

I am trying to add A+ product description to an existing listing/ASIN, yet every time I try to submit it, it says: “This content fails to pass validation. Please click back to the editor, fix the content and submit again.: These keywords violate our community guidelines: hernia.”

I have gone back through the editor, and looked at all the images that I uploaded, and I cannot find the keyword “hernia” anywhere. Furthermore, I am a little confused as to why this keyword is violating any guidelines as it will have been used on many of our other listings… we sell support garments for people with colostomy bags and hernias.

I tried to see if there was a way to delete all the images out of the asset library in the A+ Content editor, and start again, but no luck! I am new to A+ content, so there could be something really obvious that i’m missing… but I can’t see what it is!

Does anyone know a way to properly get in contact with a real-life-person at Amazon? Their automated help section is proving pretty useless at helping with this issue. Any help is massively appreciated.

Check the descriptions/keywords for your product photos you have added when you downloaded the pictures.

the images you are using? did you take them or download them? maybe the metadata on them for some reason has it?
Any 2 words next to each other that could spell it? remember the Amazon AI is more complicated that a NASA launch!

If it’s part of a longer word that can be a trigger. We were pulled up using for the word Audi which was part of the word Audio. Yes, I know it makes no sense!

A+ Content has different rules than a product description. You might be allowed to use the word Hernia in the product description and no allowed to use that word in A+. We were allowed to use the word “biodegradable” in our product description but when we replaced the product description with A+ content the word was banned. I agree with other commentators, you need to check the photos you have used - if they have a tag or meta data that uses the hernia word. If you need to use the word Hernia in your product description then it sounds like you should not be using A+ content as it replaces the product description.
