Cannot update attributes

I would like to update title, color, style and other common attributes for listings that I have created, I own, and am brand registered for.

Updates to not process despite delete and relist, and attempting to contact seller support. I get this reply from amazon " After a review, we’ve determined that the attribute you would like to update for this ASIN has already been claimed by another representative of the brand."

Please help me understand this. I have even logged into the main account to make updates directly instead of using my secondary user login but this only worked for some items. I have outstanding changes that have not gone through and amazon will keep sending me the same reply.

Hi @Seller_HHl1UzxcvyTBs,

do you get the same error message, even if you try to change the attributes individually? Let's say changing only the color, instead of updating title and style as well? Just to see if it is one of the attributes that is causing an issue or all of them.

Hi @Jona_AmazonIm not getting anywhere with seller support or brand registry.

I'm at my wits end here and there is no consistency here. What I am trying to get to the bottom of is to make sure that all the marketplaces on my unified accout are going to show up as BRAND OWNER and winning contributor. There is no brand owner permission for brand registry or seller support permissions. I have connected each merchant token associated to the unified account in connected selling accounts. Does it matter what email address I use to login to seller central with to update listings? Seems like no matter if I use the admin account or secondary user accounts we get the same rejection "owned by another brand representative" and it is infuriating because the same staff members created the listings to begin with so this makes NO SENSE and inhibiting our ability to make necessary updates to the listings to display accurate information to sell product.

we're still on it. I was also in touch with Brand Registry, but ultimately, we needed to forward your case to another Team, which was done yesterday and I am currently waiting for a reply.

Im making calls and cases to update specific attributes and Im not getting anywhere. This is a huge waste of time and ongoing issues that are not getting solved. I have customers complaining because our bullet or title is wrong and I cant fix it. This is a terrible experience for the seller and the buyer. ALL PRODUCTS were created under one unified seller central account. We are brand registered. I go to update a listing and it doesnt reflect. Amazon keeps telling me "owned by another brand steward" and I can remove merchant tokens or permissions. The merchant tokens I see are accurate. The users in seller central are still unable to update a listing. They keep sending me my own merchant token as the winning contributor but no staff can fix it. I log in I click on the market I want assuming it will automatically reflect the correct merchant token. i dont know what else to do and I need to fix this once and for all. It's been two years for one product not being able to remove. a simple bullet point. This is insane.
