Stranded Inventory at FBA

Hi,

We stock a number of our items at FBA and since mid-March we have a large volume (36 SKU’s) of stock held in “Stranded Inventory”.

The only message we’ve been given about this is " Important Stranded inventory notice

Due to current circumstances, Stranded reason generation and updates to Stranded reasons will be delayed. If a Stranded reason has not yet been generated it will show as “Listing error” below.

Inventory with Stranded reasons “Inventory error” or “Inventory under review” may be a result of fulfillment restrictions in France and Italy due to COVID-19. Selling Partner Support will not be able to help resolve issues with these listings.".

Contacting Seller Support is next to useless. I have been given various “general” responses which make little to no sense. The reason for Stranded Inventory is listed as “Inventory Error” but we’ve done nothing different with these SKU’s…

I’d be interested to know if anyone knows the reason behind this? I can’t seem to find anything relevant online that explains why I have this stranded inventory, and it seems there’s very little I can do to resolve it?

Please help

Check the FBA Inventory report to find out which warehouses the units are stored in, those stored in France or Italy will show with this error.

Alternatively the listings have been deleted for some reason (do the ASINs still show up if you search them in the “add a product” page?)

it really depends on what it is… we got a new ASIN amongst a batch of them gone in, not essential but with offices reopening etc… that one got stranded and had to contact SS to sort out. not sure what they did but warehouse was involved. May be they have to cubicscan since it is new.
