Restricted Product Policy Violations - Please help
Hi All,
Regarding restricted product policy, if someone can please help on the following:
-
If we delete and close the listing and appeal to state this, is this sufficient and does not put our account at further risk?
-
We have tried to appeal some to explain how we feel they are not restricting product policy, but literally cannot get anywhere with them. We have some where they have not even emailed us to say this is against restricted policy so we do not even know the reason.
-
If we remove the listings when they email us the first time ever, does that prevent it from then going on the account health dashboard?
Difficult is, we have thousands of listings, it is so difficult to go into each one and make sure all info is correct etc. As other sellers can also amend listings at any given time.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

If its a reported violation rather than suspected, it will stay on your dashboard for either 180 days or until you get a retraction letter

Hi Guys,
Any idea on this?
Spoke to Amazon and they stated we never provided ingredients on the listing, when we did. However, they stated they cannot remove this from our account health dashboard.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Guys,
Amazon stated for restricted products, they cannot remove it from the account health dashboard.
For example they removed some of the listings because they did not have ingredients. However, we did provide this, they are stating we did not and there is no way for us to prove this.
Any thoughts?
Thanks a lot.

For restricted products it’s very hard to get them removed. As Amazon “think” that the product simply isn’t allowed on Amazon.
For example, we currently have an issue with a hollow plastic truncheon. This is allowed under Amazon policy but as Amazon view this as a “baton”, they see it as a restricted item, batons are not allowed.
I had it reinstated on UK but Germany won’t budge.

We are having the same issue. Ingredients. ASINs affected comply but there is still a suspected policy violation, and even if it is wrong it still counts against you. Jumping through hoops and getting nowhere. Manufacturers have done letters still facing the same Amazon brick wall of fire.
