FBA Inbound shipment issues

Hi,

I am new seller on Amazon and seem to be having issues. I feel this could be due to Covid-19 with low staff levels at FBA centers but want to check with other sellers.

I sent a shipment of 21 items into Coventry FBA and was received last Thursday. 3 items on the shipment just haven’t been received at all. 7 Items went up for sale on Friday and then Saturday morning they are now out of stock with some labeled as FC processing and some labeled as reserved but non of which were recorded as a sale. I have queried them all with Amazon and had an email back regarding 2 of the 7 saying that they were were virtually in reserved but now being changed to misplaced!

So i have a shipment of 21 items and some appears to be not checked in, some appears to be “misplaced”, some randomly in reserved and only about 5 items fully on sale.

If this is just because of the current situation then fine, but I hope this isn’t just a thing you have to deal with regular. I am a new seller with quite a lot of funds tied up on this shipment.

Any advise would be appreciated.

It normally takes anything from a day or so, to weeks for a shipment to checked in.
So since Thursday, you are doing pretty well.

If your not already aware, FC processing/transfer, will more likely than not, mean that units are being moved between warehouses.

In other words, don’t believe the shipment information until you get it fully checked in.
You will still have the option to reconcile it, if it is still wrong.

Shipments can take up to 2 weeks to process and yes it is something you have to deal with regularly. If you sent on Thursday then that is pretty quick.

From a positive point of view, if they are moving your stock around to other centres from one shipment at least they are not asking you to create multiple shipments. It saves you time, effort & money in the long run.
