Incorrect image - unable to change
It has been always tough to change images on Branded item.
One of my ASIN has disproportionate product image on Amazon and seller supportkept denying with the reason " the listing is owned by the brand owner"…
This one is “HARRY POTTER” brand and my account is approved for the same and manufacturer/license holder has no listing on amazon for this product.
As you can see the current image is strached and square for rectangle product and dont understand why cant I change that to proper image that represent the product correctly?

I wish the problem is that easy :).
Had updated images through file, manually uploaded all 9 images, tried removing adding images and waited for more than a week but nothing’s helpinh.
I understand the issue is, some seller has been assigned as a brand owner for this ASIN by the system as per amazon’s super easy (!) system and now apart from that seller, no one is able to change the images.
And ss kkep replying and closing case with brand protection and listing owned by the brand owner., but infact there is no brand owner here - its “HARRY POTTER” ASIN created by a seller like me.
Do you think its worth contactin MD on such small issue?

Sometimes if I upload more photos than is on the listing I win the photo contribution, even on branded items.
You could try uploading 3 photos (even if its the same one 3 times) and check back tomorrow, see if you won the photo lottery

Also see Dedez and my replies to the other 2 similar problems on changing Category and Brand on products.
However, with images do not use ‘Edit Listing’ to try and change image. Instead use ‘Catalogue - Upload Images’ option. I had an issue recently where Amazon said my pic was not on a pure white background. Using Edit Listing to upload new images and they never took. When I used Upload Images instead they took - go figure!
