Read onlyHi all,
I'm having a nightmare with Amazon padding our delivery estimates. We have everything set to the fastest settings in our account (0 day handling, RM 24 and tracked 24 options active, handling capacity set to 4x what we currently ship a day, SSA on). Our Fulfilment Insights Dashboard shows 0.9 for handling time gap (aim of 1), and it even says at the top that 'Buyers received packages on average 1.7 days before the Promised Delivery Date'...
Our competitors are using the same delivery services as us, but their listings are showing standard delivery as tomorrow (Saturday), ours is showing as Monday, and our premium option (tracked 24) is showing as Sunday not Saturday.
When you sell birthday decorations as we do, every day counts, and as a result our sales are in the toilet today, with our competitors mopping up all the sales we are losing - so we lose twice!
Seller support who of course sympathise with my situation and then do nothing to help me out have said: The delivery promise is influenced on the recent performance from the last month, it was found that your 'On time delivery' was 93.5% the last which will affect the delivery promise. I get that this is below the 97%, but this is down to the courier and service (which is the exact same as my competitors are using), so it's completely luck of the draw as to whether my item gets delivered on time or not compared to my competition (who BTW are geographically shipping through the same RM hub as us!).
Does anyone have a contact who I can use to look into this directly or can the forum admins please get this case (9804162482) referred so someone in charge of setting these estimates so that our account can be reviewed and the playing field levelled? Ultimately it only seems fair that our delivery estimate is reinstated to the same as our competitors OR that theirs is also delayed as a result of this. Surely if RM are not delivering to amazons standard then all sellers using it should have their dates padded, and not just the ones who are unlucky enough to be on the wrong side of the stats?
Context on how our account is run...
Order deficit rate 0.2%
Negative feedback 0.08%
A-Z claims 0.13%
Policy compliance 1000/1000
Late dispatch 0.17%
Pre fulfilment cancellation 0%
VTR 97.89%
On time delivery rate 99.53%!!!!!
Ultimately I wonder why we are even allowed to set delivery estimates anyway when the overlords in their infinite wisdom will just change them anyway?
Admins - again, would really appreciate some help escalating this please?
Thanks all. Rant over!
