Same or different SKU across marketplaces?
This may seem like a simple question, but I have not been able to get a clear answer from Amazon.
Background:
Brand owner and registered, sell Food Supplements on amazon.de using FBA, want to expand offers to other EU marketplaces and still use FBA. Goal is to be able to use PAN-EU once I have expanded to enough markets.
Note: The product is 100% identical across marketplaces and use manufacturers barcode (EAN).
Question:
Should I use the same SKU as my German offer when listing my offer in the other EU marketplaces or should I use a different SKU and what are the implications for inventory management?
Sub Qs:
-With same SKU, will inventory be one big pool across marketplaces?
-With same SKU, will I replenish inventory to one market or all markets individually?
-With same SKU, will I be able to see and manage local inventory?
-With different SKU, will I ever be able to use PAN-EU or does this necessitate same SKU?
Thanks!

That might depend. I imagine that the product requires local language labelling to be compliant with listing (and sales) regulations. If there is not regionalisation required and the product is already suitably labelled and customised for market-wide sales then you can use the same SKU if you wish.
I don’t have specific answers about the inventory management side - just flagging the check that you’ve done your homework on labelling and export/import/marketplace regs for food supplements.
