Valid tracking rate
We received an email saying our valid tracking rate had dropped as we hadnt put tracking numbers into our orders… we send evrything standard second class.we buy shipping at the post office. ther is no tracking number…
amazon emailed us back and said that if we buy shipping through them then we can still send untracked… for the past month we have been buying shipping through amazon and expected the threatening enails to stop
But we are still receiving them… when you buy shiiping through amazon it changes the status automatically to shipped… ther is no option to add tracking numbers.
we really do not know what to do we are at our wits end.

It’s how you recorded them on Amazon that was important, not whether they actually had tracking or not.
You can still send untracked regardless of using buy shipping. VTR policy is not to send everything tracked (yet), it’s to properly record tracked shipping such that it can be verified as being valid.
VTR is based on the expected delivery date, so depending on exactly when you switched it is possible you still have older orders bringing your VTR down. Your untracked RM shipping bought from buy shipping are exempt from VTR, so once your old orders drop off your VTR should go to n/a - assuming you send nothing tracked.

Just to agree with Demel.
You do NOT have to send everything tracked - even though some Amazon Seller Support staff may tell you you must - they are wrong !
Using buy shipping you need do nothing more - Amazon automatically add any tracking numbers and confirm shipment - all very simple.
If you are now using Amazon Buy Shipping then your VTR will gradually see a big improvement over the next couple of weeks. It will be N/A if you send nothing tracked, or 100% if you do send even just one tracked item.
Also, an added bonus, if you are using Buy Shipping for small parcel size items it is cheaper than over the counter at the PO - £3.00 instead of £3.20 !
